2009 will be DEBEL's 30th anniversary

We started out when gabardine, baggy trousers and high platform shoes were the latest thing, but DEBEL is now the leading brand for DIY blinds and bathroom accessories.

When the company was founded in 1979, our product range was very limited, mainly consisting of shower curtain rails and roller blinds. But within two years, the range was expanded to include shower curtains and bath mats. In 1986 DEBEL AS built a brand new factory

and in 1990, the product range was once more expanded by importing PVC and aluminium venetian blinds, folding, pleated and vertical blinds from Asia.

Nowadays, we concentrate on new product development, exciting designs and developing new materials. Production is now outsourced to carefully selected vendors in Asia and Eastern Europe, able to deliver quality and prices which are difficult to compete with. Everything is controlled from Denmark, where dedicated DEBEL personnel work hard to ensure satisfied customers ...

2005 saw new owners for the business, followed in 2007 by a new Managing Director. The goal for the future is clear: DEBEL will be no. 1 within its market, and with the host of new initiatives we have taken we are already on the way.

From 2009 DEBEL AS is part of DECO GROUP, which is a major supplier of sun screening products and accessories for the bathroom on the Scandinavian market. Members of DECO GROUP are DEBEL AS, Denmark, VIVA DESIGN AS, Denmark, DEBEL AB, Sweden and DECOPRODUKTER AS, Norway.
